Coach Laura Stewart is a personal trainer, Crossfit Level 1 coach, is MovNat Level 1&2 certified, and has been
training with Kettlebells for years. She’s attended several courses and workshops on how to move more effectively and efficiently and how to be a better coach. Her true love is helping people discover how capable they can be in every aspect of their life through proper movement and strength training
During the 3 hour Squat Workshop Laura will lead you through the fundamentals of executing one of the most functional movements our bodies are designed for…the squat! This workshop is for athletes who wish to improve their squat technique and learn how to squat optimally for their body structure.
Come prepared to move. The day will alternate between theory and movement practice, so dress in layers, and in comfortable clothes.
During the workshop she will address:

▪ Core bracing and engagement
▪ Basic anatomy, and why everyone squats differently
▪ Required mobility and drills to improve your squat
▪ Proper squat technique
▪ Common faults and corrections
▪ Loading the squat

This class will run Saturday September 28 2019 at 10:30am. Class is be 3 hours long so plan accordingly.
